A father suspects his son or his son’s friends of stealing items from his house. The man discovered a ring and camera, among other things, were missing. He believes it may be his son or his friends because they frequently spend time at his house. The ring was last seen in a dresser drawer while the camera may have been left out in plain view.

COVINGTON

May 5

  • IN STORAGE: 27200 block of Covington Way Southeast. After opening his storage unit a man discovered items were missing. Though the man missed a payment on the unit he believes his former roommate removed the lock and took the items.

 

May 3

  • THEFT: 17200 block of Southeast 264th Street. A father suspects his son or his son’s friends of stealing items from his house. The man discovered a ring and camera, among other things, were missing. He believes it may be his son or his friends because they frequently spend time at his house. The ring was last seen in a dresser drawer while the camera may have been left out in plain view.

 

May 2

  • SUSPENDED LICENSE: 25500 block of 180th Avenue Southeast. A man was caught driving with a suspended license. During the traffic stop the officer discovered that the driver was also in possession of a small amount of heroin.

 

MAPLE VALLEY

May 6

  • CAR PROWL: 26200 block of 235th Avenue Southeast. Someone entered an unlocked car parked in the Kate’s Ridge neighborhood and stole the owner’s purse. Two other unlocked cars parked on the same street were entered and the thieves stole items from them, as well.

 

May 4

  • CAMPING OUT: 27300 block of Lake Wilderness Road. An apparent homeless camp was discovered in a wooded area near the Lake Wilderness trail.
  • FIGHT: 26900 block of state Route 169. A patient was trespassed from a doctor’s office after getting into a confrontation that involved pushing and shoving.

 

May 2

  • SHOPLIFTERS: 27300 block of state Route 169. Suspects toting backpacks and wearing blue bandanas entered Party Etc. and took items without permission.
  • BICKERING COUPLE: 26800 block of Maple Valley Highway. A couple pulled into the parking lot at the Texaco gas station on the corner of Maple Valley Highway and Southeast Kent-Kangley Road. The couple were seen arguing while they remained in their vehicle.
