A pancake breakfast fundraising event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14.

The fundrasier is for FAST, Fundraising Action Steering Team, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to assist with legal expenses related to the fight the proposed YarrowBay master planned developments in Black Diamond.

The  cost is $6 for 13 and above, $3 for children 6 to 12 and children 5 and under are free.

Door prizes will be held each hour for adults and children.

FAST would like to thank the local businesses who donated food as well as the many volunteers who contributed to make last month’s breakfast a great success.

FAST will be organizing pancake breakfasts the second Sunday of each month through December.
