• A residential burglary was reported at 2:31 p.m. on Aug. 24 at a single story home on the 19200 block of Southeast 268^th Street.

• An unlocked mountain bike was reported stolen at 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 23 from outside the Covington library, 27100 164^th Ave. SE.

• A residential burglary was reported at 10:57 p.m. on Aug. 22 at a house on the 26600 block of 197^th Place Southeast.

• Shoplifting of DVD’s was reported at 3:35 p.m. on Aug. 22 from Walmart, 17432 SE 270^th Place.

• Police reported at 11:08 a.m. on Aug. 22 that a suspect returned stolen items at Kohl’s, 17002 SE 270^th Place, and requested a cash or credit refund.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• A controlled substance violation was reported at 8 a.m. on Aug. 24 following a traffic stop at Southeast 272^nd Street and 185^th Avenue Southeast.

SEX OFFENSE

• Police received a report at 10 a.m. on Aug. 24 that a suspect posted a nude photo on Facebook of a female living on the 22000 block of Southeast 268^th Place without her permission.
