King County’s educational booth will be among the attractions at the IKEA Environmental Fair today and tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the store in Renton.

The booth will include hands-on demonstrations on how to recycle, green-up vehicles, volunteer for environmental projects, and make homes and gardens greener.

The overall event will feature activities and personalities, including television gardening personality Ciscoe Morris (today at 2 p.m.).

This free, two-day fair will have booths and displays from government agencies, plus groups and businesses encouraging Earth-friendly practices.

Used electronics and appliances can be dropped off for recycling for a small fee. Recycling kitchen appliances will earn participants a coupon for $50 off a new appliance.
