Employee reportedly embezzles money from business | Covington & Maple Valley Police Blotter

• On May 22 officers were called to Game Stop to the report that an employee had been embezzling money from the store. The police report stated the employee had been illegally returning and selling items.

All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

• On May 25 officers responded to reports of a subject selling heroin and another subject giving them a ride in their car. The police report stated the heroin was packaged in a torn Safeway bag.

NARCOTICS ACTIVITY

• On May 30 officers responded to the report that underage children were possibly smoking marijuana.

PERSON WITH WEAPON

• On May 26 officers responded to Fred Meyer where two subjects got into a verbal argument over a crosswalk issue. The police report stated that one of the subjects displayed an open knife and threatened to “kill” the other.
