Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety and Maple Valley police officers responded to a dump truck accident on state Route 169 at 11 a.m. today.
A dump truck was traveling south on SR 169 near SE 250th Street. The driver reported he swerved to miss a deer and the truck hit the shoulder of the road, flipped and caught on fire.
Initial report is the driver was not seriously injured.
Firefighters had the fire extinguished in less than 10 minutes.
