Driver with suspended license arrested with marijuana pipe in pocket | Black Diamond Police Blotter

An officer observed a vehicle traveling south in the 29200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast.

HIT AND RUN: 31100 block of 3rd Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a report of a possible hit and run at a business in the 31100 block of 3rd Avenue. Upon arrival the business owner advised a vehicle may have knocked over a tent pole and a cedar box while leaving the parking lot. The business owner could not verify a vehicle had hit the items since there were no witnesses. The business owner valued the damage at $100.

MARIJUANA PIPE: 29200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast. An officer observed a vehicle traveling south in the 29200 block of 216th Avenue Southeast. The records check of the registered owner’s information showed his license was suspended. A man driving the vehicle was stopped and identified by his driver’s license as the registered owner. Upon being placed under arrest a marijuana pipe was found in the man’s pocket. He was booked into Buckley jail.
