Are you prepared for a disaster?

The Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety will be holding a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) course from Feb. 16 to April 26.

The course is designed to create awareness, teach critical skills for assessing a disaster situation, such as earthquakes and ensure participants gain the confidence they need to react productively and responsibly in a disaster.

There are no prerequisites.

Classes cost $40.
