Dance competition hosted by Tahoma High School set for Jan. 23

Tahoma High School and the Tahoma Dance Team will host its annual dance and drill competition on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Tahoma High School and the Tahoma Dance Team will host its annual dance and drill competition on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Doors open at 11:15 a.m. and the competition begins at noon.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for students and $2 for seniors and children.

Along with dance teams from Tahoma High School and Tahoma Junior High, teams from Kentwood, Kentlake, Cedar Heights Middle School, Cedar Heights Junior High, Newport, Highline, Todd Beamer, Mount Rainier, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, Black Hills and Union will be there to compete.

Two local studios, Dance Arts and Dance Expressions will also have dance groups performing.
