Cub Scout Pack 712 is inviting boys in first through fifth grade to join. Cub Scouting is fun for boys. Scouts build rockets, pinewood derby cars, go camping and provide service to our community. For mom and dad, scouting is a great resource for teaching your son life skills and character development.

Grab your parent/guardian and come to a pizza dinner, campfire and sing-along 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 23855 SE 216th St., Maple Valley.

We will be displaying some of the activities that scouts can be involved with and you will have an opportunity to experience being part of our pack and ask questions.

If you can’t make this event, please feel free to stop by at any of our future events. Pack meetings are usually the third Friday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Shadow Lake Elementary gym.
