A pair of special meetings of the Covington City Council and the council, acting as the Transportation Benefit District Board, are set for Tuesday night.

First, the City Council will interview candidates for openings on the Economic Development Council. The council’s regular meeting will follow this interview process at 7 p.m.

At 9 p.m. Tuesday, the Transportation Benefit District board meeting will start. During the meeting the City Council, acting as the TBD board, will consider and possibly take action on finalizing use of money from the TBD and discuss how to educate the public on the TBD which is set to go to the voters in November.
