GOOD SAMARITAN RIPPED OFF: 17200 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A man persuaded his victim to deposit some checks then withdraw the amount of those checks for him. Those checks bounced and now his victim owes Bank of American $1,000.

April 23

THEFT: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A woman’s purse was stolen from her cart while she was shopping.

April 18

MAYBE HE DIDN’T LIKE THE SERVICE: 17000 block of Southeast 270th Place. The tip jar at Iron Grill was stolen and as the thief fled in his car he hit another car trying to get away. The thief then rolled his car before he fled the scene.

April 19

BURGLARY: 26800 block of 156th Place Southeast. Someone broke into a home then stole a gun and drugs. There were no signs of forced entry.

FORE! 23400 block of Southeast 245th Street. Someone stole golf clubs from a garage that had been left open.

FAKE PRESCRIPTIONS: 17000 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A pair of suspects attempted to fill forged prescriptions for 80 milligrams of oxycontin in the pharmacy of Safeway at Four Corners.

THREAT WITH A WEAPON: Southeast 282nd Place and 234th Avenue Southeast. A boy was threatened by another juvenile with a folding double bladed knife. The assailant poked the boy in the pant leg but did not injure the victim.
