The Metropolitan King County Council will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 19 at the King County Courthouse to take testimony on a proposed ordinance authorizing authorizing the sale of 42,184 square feet of land located at the northeasterly corner of the intersection of S.E. 272nd Street and 156th Place S.E. in the city of Covington for a sewer lift station.
The public hearing on the proposed sale will be held before the full council at the King County Courthouse in Room 1001.
King County Road Services has determined that the 42,184 square feet are surplus to its needs. The parcel will be sold to the Soos Creek Water and Sewer District for a sewer lift station. Road Services will continue to own the remainder of the parcel.
