The Maple Valley City Council meeting for Monday, March 9 will include a discussion with the Planning Commission regarding the comprehensive plan update.

A presentation will also be made by Shawn Hunstock, finance director, regarding the new “budgeting by priorities” structure the Council will likely move to in the next budget season.

The Lake Wilderness Citizen Advisory Committee will also give a report at the meeting.

Council meetings are at 7 p.m. at the Tahoma School District Central Services Center, 25720 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road SE.
