All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES

• On June 26 officers responded to reports that employees from a recycling company had been pounding on the front door of a residence around 4:45 p.m. The police report stated the employees asked to speak with the parents. It also said the children hid upstairs and heard suspicious noises coming from downstairs. Nothing was reported missing from the home.

LARCENY

• On July 2 officers responded to reports that a female subject stole a cart full of meat from the Covington Safeway.

• On July 4 officers responded to reports that the victim’s car had been broken into while parked near the Soos Creek Trail. The victim told officers her purse along with the contents had been taken.

• On June 28 an unknown group of people stole cash from a garage sale.

• On June 29 officers responded to the report of a subject stealing donation money from the Ronald McDonald donation box. The police report stated the subject then ran to a vehicle and drove off.

• On June 29 it was reported that the estranged husband of the reporting party had stolen her jewelry.
