The FARF 5K brought out heroes of all kinds to run at Lake Wilderness in Maple Valley on Labor Day, Aug. 2.

The FARF 5K is hosted each year by two families from Renton and Maple Valley whose children suffer from Fanconi Anemia, a genetic disorder that causes high rates of cancer in patients. All the money raised went to the Fanconi Anemia Research Foundation (FARF), based in Oregon.

The Superhero 5K Fun Run raises on average $20,000 for FARF to help research FA. Check out some of the heroes who came out and supported the fund.
