Washington-native singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile returns to Benaroya Hall for three nights with the Seattle Symphony and guest conductor Jason Weinberger. The performance will feature many ofCarlile’s best-loved hits, as well as songs from her latest album, Bear Creek.
The winner of Seattle’s City of Music Breakthrough Award for 2010, Brandi Carlile sold out her Benaroya Hall debut with the Seattle Symphony in 2008 and two return performances in 2010. The 2010 engagement, which featured a set list of original compositions including “The Story” and “Turpentine”was released by Columbia Records as Brandi Carlile Live at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle Symphonyin May 2011, to rave reviews.
