The location for the next Tahoma Boundary Review Committee meeting has been changed to the library at Tahoma High School.
An extensive boundary review process is underway to determine which of the six elementary schools students will attend in the fall of 2017. After the committee determines elementary attendance boundaries, it will address middle school boundaries. The outer boundaries of the district are not changing.
More information about the process is available at http://goo.gl/3MzKE3 and the committee meetings are open to the public, although parents and community members are asked to observe and not participate at this point. The parents on the committee will host two public comment meetings on dates yet to be determined.
The location of the upcoming meeting was changed due to an anticipated increase in attendance; it will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 24 in the THS library.
