Black Diamond police seek ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect

A 49-year-old Black Diamond man, James Ecret, is being sought by police for domestic violence felony harassment and cyber harassment. Police spokesman Sgt. Greg Goral said Ecret should be considered armed and dangerous.

A 49-year-old Black Diamond man, James Ecret, is being sought by police for domestic violence felony harassment and cyber harassment. Police spokesman Sgt. Greg Goral said Ecret should be considered armed and dangerous.

Ecret is accused of leaving his ex-girlfriend, who lives in Black Diamond, voice messages stating he wanted to kill her and he sent her text messages with lewd pictures according to the Goral.

On Sept. 13 Ecret is accused of going to the woman’s residence and throwing flower pots around and sticking a knife in her door.

Goral said following an investigation the Black Diamond Police Department filed charges with the King County prosecutor.

Ecret also has a cyber harassment warrant from King County. According to the Black Diamond Police Department he had been on supervised probation, but is currently at large.

Goral said he made comments that “he will not go to jail.”
