The League of Women Voters is presenting a Black Diamond mayor and City Council candidate forum 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Black Diamond Elementary School Gym, 25314 Baker St.

The mayor candidates are incumbent Howard Botts and challenger Rebecca Olness.

In the City Council races Craig Goodwin is challenging incumbent Geoff Bowie for Position No. 2.

Jim Kuzaro and William Saas are vying for Position No. 4.

Following the forum will be a 30 minute period to meet the candidates.

There will also be a candidate forum at the Lake Sawyer Community club from 3 p.m. Oct. 4.
