Black Diamond man accused of felony domestic violence arrested

James Robert Ecret, a Black Diamond man accused of felony domestic violence, was arrested by King County Sheriff's deputies and booked into the County jail Saturday.

James Robert Ecret, a Black Diamond man accused of felony domestic violence, was arrested by King County Sheriff’s deputies and booked into the County jail Saturday.

The 49-year-old Ecret has been charged the with felony domestic violence, domestic violence cyber staking and third degree domestic violence.

A hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 22.

The Black Diamond police reported Ecret was harassing and threatening his former girlfriend, who lives in Black Diamond.

The charging documents from the prosecutor’s office stated he went to his ex-girlfriend’s home and threw flower pots around and stuck the blade of a folding pocket knife in the door.

He is also accused of leaving threatening voice messages stating he wanted to kill her and sending her text messages with lewd pictures.
