Black Diamond Community Center collecting donations for school supplies

The Black Diamond Community Center will be collecting donations of school supplies and clothing for low-income children, grades K-12 until the last week of August.

The Black Diamond Community Center will be collecting donations of school supplies and clothing for low-income children, grades K-12 until the last week of August.

Supplies will be handed out 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, at the Black Diamond Community Center.

Items needed include one, two and three ring binders,loose-leaf paper, spiral notebooks, pencils, ball-point pens, markers, rulers, 24 pack crayons, 24 pack colored pencils, watercolor paints, back packs, pencil pouches, folders with sturdy pockets, round-tipped scissors, big pink erasers, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, glue bottles, kleenex boxes and gallon-sized ziploc bags.

They are also accepting winter clothing items in children’s and teen’s sizes.
