Bill Allison was elected to another term as mayor by the Maple Valley City Council Monday night.

Maple Valley is a council-manager city with the mayor being selected from the City Council by members of the council. Allison was re-elected to the council in November and this will be his second term as mayor.

On Monday night the council also elected Sean Kelly as deputy mayor. Kelly is serving his first term on the council, he was first elected in 2011. This is his first term as deputy mayor.
