John Henderson took first place at the Annual Hooked On Fishing Opening Day Trout Derby on the weekend April 27-28.

The prizes awarded for the Hooked on Fishing Trout Derby Opening Day at Lake Wilderness on the weekend April 27-28.

  • 1st place  John Henderson – Four pounds. four ounces. and measuring 22 inches. It was caught at 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
  • 2nd Place: Larry Klopstein – 45.25 ounces and 18.75 inches long;
  • 3rd place – Shelton Schneider – 39.75 ounces and 18.5 inches long.

The tagged fish, ‘B. Ready’ was not caught this year.
