Emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident on the Covington Sawyer Road about 12:30 p.m. The first units on scene found two vehicles on the side of the road with minor damage and no airbags were deployed.

The emergency workers evaluated the driver of one of the cars involved in the accident and asked for paramedics. King County Sheriff’s deputies closed the road for a short time for safety reasons. The paramedics transported the patient to the hospital.

This accident is under investigation.
