The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra (MVYSO) will be performing a “Spice of Life” concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 4 at the Maple Valley Presbyterian Church.

The church is located at 22659 Sweeny Rd.

Jackie Hickman, a Tahoma junior, will be playing Edward Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor.

Hickman has been playing cello with the MVYSO since their second season in 2008.

The concert will feature music often used in movies, TV shows, and commercials.

A $5 suggested donation is welcome at the door.
