The Maple Valley Creative Arts Center will hold a "Post-Traumatic Thanksgiving Blues" event at 7 p.m.

The Maple Valley Creative Arts Center will hold a “Post-Traumatic Thanksgiving Blues” event at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26.The event will include a prose, poetry and play readings from local artists:

  • Holiday Comedy by Cathi Cane Layman
  • A reading by Ed Corrigan from his book “The Adventures of Little Eddie.”
  • A reading by Becky Rappin of “The Storm.”
  • A poem by Malorie Spreen.
  • A staged reading of three scenes from “David,” a new play by Ed Corrigan performed by Sean Stone and Craig Ewing and directed by Susan Bradford.
  • “Soldier of the Desert” and “Little Butterfly” performed by Michael Murphy and Ed Corrigan.

The Creative Arts Center is located at 23220 Maple Valley Highway SE Suite 15.
