Kentwood Players present “Curtains”

Kentwood Players is presenting the Pacific Northwest premier of “Curtains” from Kander and Ebb, the composers who created Cabaret and Chicago. The play is a comedy musical within a musical that takes place as a group of wild actors, a witty director, a crazed producer and a love forlorn composer try to pull a western musical version of Robin Hood together as people are being murdered all around them.

Enter Detective Cioffi, who just happens to love theatre and solve the crimes. The show is funny and the music is brilliant.

The show times are 7 p.m. May 6-9 and 13-16. Ticket prices are $8 and are available on line at brownpapertickets.com.

The production is directed by Rebecca Lloyd, with choreography by Kate Mosbarger.
