There will be an American Cancer Society Moon Fest 2012 benefit concert at noon on Aug. 18 at Lake Leland in Quilcene.

The concert will be produced by Roger Fisher and Michael Fisher. Roger Fisher is the guitarist and founding member of the rock group Heart. Michael Fisher was Heart’s leader through the band’s early years.

Roger Fisher will play original songs from his new album ALL TOLD.

Other groups performing at this annual event are Randy Hansen, Leon Hendrix, No Quarter, Heartless, Rolling Tones, Petty Fever, British Export, Open Blue, The 350s, Blumeadows, Kimberly Hall, and Dennis Mitchell.

MoonFest 2012 is in the banana belt, a rain shadow created by the Olympic mountains.
