Heavier Than Air Family Theater, Green River Community College’s resident community theater, will hold open auditions for an upcoming production of Rodger and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella”.

Informal read-through type auditions for adults, ages 18 and above, are 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 and Thursday, April 1. Auditions will be held in the Performing Arts Building of Green River Community College, located at 12401 SE 320th Street in Auburn. Those auditioning should, but are not required to, bring a picture and lead sheet.

Community actors and actresses are needed with strong singing, dancing and acting skills.

Rehearsals will be every Tuesday and Thursday starting April 8 with performances June 11, 12, 18 and 19.

Heavier Than Air Family Theater is the resident semi-professional community theater located on the campus of Green River Community College in Auburn. The Heavier Than Air group has been bringing quality family entertainment to the area for over 35 years. They have established themselves in the community through the combined use of professional, local actors and children that work together to create some of the most entertaining live performances in the area at very reasonable prices.

It is the longest continually operating community theater in South King County. They produce three shows a year and operate a drama camp for students age three through 17 each summer. Summer camp this year starts June 28.
