Thanks to volunteers at Maple Valley Guild book sale | Letter

Another Maple Valley Library Guild book sale has been completed. Again, our volunteers were stellar.

Another Maple Valley Library Guild book sale has been completed.

Again, our volunteers were stellar.

Many hands made light work and this was especially true of the many hands we had from the Tahoma teens in Mrs. Dillon’s AP classes who volunteered their time to help.

These wonderful students included Maddie Johnson, Alexus Yantzer, Steve Kennedy, Sarah Faulk, Nicolette Olson, Morgan Olson, Vivian Salazar, Paige Tiedeman, Brooke Lichty, Ethan Mattson, Ashton Ohms, Kayla Harbold, Ansley Caulkins, Nick Lawson, and Michelle Perry.

Guild members included Karen and Colin Timm, David and Carole Johnston, Bobbi and Jerry Sayers, Duane and Linda Duvall, Laura Pollack, Charles Benedict, Ralph Hennig, Vickey Duckworth, Laura Grindroz, Trista Roppel, Sue Troutner, Darlene Stump, Phyllis Cavanaugh, Viki Kychakoff, and Linda Johnson.

If I missed anyone or mis-spelled any names I apologize because without everyone’s dedication and support our twice-yearly book sales might not happen.

Thank you also to our community members who participate in our book sales and also contribute their books to the Guild.

Without these donations we would not have books for our book sale.

The proceeds from the book sales help support the activities of our own Maple Valley Library and without these funds these activities would be greatly diminished.

The Library Guild meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month, 7 p.m. in the Library meeting room.

Come join us and become a Guild member.

See you for our fall sale, Oct. 25, 26 and 27.

Sincerely,

Linda Johnson, Book Sale chair
