Tahoma School District has two measures on the Feb. 9 ballot. They are replacements levies for technology and educational programs and operations. These local levies provide about 19 percent of the district budget. The state does not specifically fund technology. The state does not adequately fund transportation, extra-curricular activities, para-educators, emergency preparedness, supplies, athletics, and utilities.

To maintain the quality of education in our community, it is crucial that these levies pass.

Please support our young people and vote yes.
