Join those who support Tahoma Schools and vote for construction bond | Letter

ahoma schools are full now and more kids are coming. Currently, our schools are so full that 25 percent of district kids are in portables. Stages, conference rooms and even closets have been converted to educational space. And the district expects 1,400 more kids in the next 10 years! There simply isn’t enough space to accommodate our kids now, far less the kids who will be coming in the future.

Tahoma schools are full now and more kids are coming.

If we don’t support this bond, the district will be faced with changing the way our kids go to school with either multi-tracking or double shifting. These options will drastically alter the opportunities for success that we have today.

Many organizations and people understand the vital role the district plays in our community by keeping property values strong, providing Maple Valley’s largest workforce, and creating a standard of excellence felt throughout the greater Maple Valley area.

Now is the time to invest in our future. The following organizations and people understand the value of this investment and support the bond.  Please vote YES and join this group!
