A race for the Maple Valley City Council has taken a dirty turn for the worse. Recently a candidate sent an inflammatory smear type e-mail making unfounded accusations and fabrications regarding her opponent. This type of campaign has no place in Maple Valley. I urge all responsible citizens to reject dirty politics and support candidates running clean campaigns based on truth. The integrity of our community is at stake.
