Dr. Niket Shrivastava, a hand surgeon, has joined Valley Orthopedic Associates at its Covington and Renton clinics.

Shrivastava received fellowship training in hand surgery at the University of California-Davis Medical Center. His postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University was an orthopedic residency that focused on biomechanical studies of the hand, knee and shoulder.

Shrivastava, who also has a general orthopedics practice, received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn.
