Daniel Ross Salon marks new location

Daniel Ross Salon and Skin Care marked its move to a new location in Covington with grand-opening celebration Jan. 9.

The 13-year-old business, now at 17407 SE. Wax Road, is “looking forward to great things. We have such great customers,” said co-owner Shar Wagers.

The Serenity Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation in Maple Valley is one of the top local horse rescues, but it’s struggling amid the aftermath of the pandemic and the increasing cost of hay. The rescue will hold a fundraising benefit Sept. 9.
