ATTEMPTED BREAK IN: 21300 block of Southeast 277th Place. Someone attempted to break into a home by removing the pet door.

PHONE SCAM: 24600 block of 188th Avenue Southeast. A man calling himself Frank contacted a woman on her home phone and told her she had won a Canadian sweepstakes but she had to pay the taxes on the winnings to claim it.

INAPPROPRIATE PHOTO: 25800 block of 164th Avenue Southeast. A juvenile took a partially nude photograph of themselves then sent it to the suspect who admitted to not only keeping the photo but forwarding it to others.

STRANGE COMMENTS: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. After walking into the store, a customer told an employee they wanted to “destroy the heart of Walmart.”

April 7

SHOPLIFTER: 16700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. Suspect stole a pair of work boots worth $69.99 from Fred Meyer.

April 6

BURGLARY: 15600 block of Southeast 255th Place. Someone broke into a home through the bathroom window then stole $10,000 worth of property.

April 3

POSSESSION: Southeast 272nd Street and Southeast Wax Road. After being stopped for a traffic violation the officer discovered the driver was driving with suspended license, had a warrant out for arrest and left his medical marijuana out in public view.

HUNGRY: 17000 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A male suspect stole three sandwiches from Safeway then fled on foot.

NOT A GUITAR HERO: 23700 block of Southeast 281st Street. After lending a guitar to a friend, the victim discovered that his friend’s son had sold or pawned off the guitar.

CHECK FRAUD: 22100 block of Southeast 237th Street. The suspect attempted to write a check under a false name and provided an altered driver’s license to the cashier to prove identity.
