At about 11:45 a.m. Oct. 18  an Easthill man was injured while topping a tree in the 12200 block of S.E. 270 Street on Kent’s Easthill.

The man was about 30 feet up the tree when he was injured and was unable to climb down the tree on his own. The man was able to climb down the Kent Fire Department RFA’s aerial ladder with assistance from firefighters.

The man’s injury was treated at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.
