The Kent School District has chartered a new PTA that is focused on children receiving special education.

According to a press release, the mission of the Kent Special Education PTA is to enable all students receiving special education the means to achieve their highest possible potential through increased communication between families and schools, offering monthly support groups and educational trainings.

This PTA includes the entire Kent School District; preschool through high school and including transition.

Monthly support groups and outside speakers on various topics will be offered throughout the year. The next meeting will be held March 11th.More information can be found on the KSEPTA website.
