Tahoma Bears off to 2-1 start

Spring is right around the corner and as the weather changes from winter to warmer temperatures, high school

sports are heading back outside.

The Tahoma Bears baseball team kicked off its season March 8 with a 4-1 loss to Roosevelt.

The Bears hosted a double header March 9 with Capital and Hanford coming to Maple Valley.

The Bears went 2-0 Saturday beating Capital 7-3 and shutting out Hanford 12-0.

Tahoma will host Emerald Ridge March 14 for their next game.

The boys are also set to host Garfield 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16.

North Puget Sound League 4A Cascade conference play begins March 19 when the Bears host Mount Rainier.
