For the third time this month, the Kentwood boys and Federal Way Eagles faced each other.
The first two times went in the Conks favor but this time around, the Eagles had a response for Kentwood and won 70-61 in the regional round of the 4A state tournament Saturday.
The loss did not end the Conks season, Kentwood will play in the first round of state Wednesday, March 1 at the Tacoma Dome.
Tip off is set for 10:30 a.m. against Kennedy Catholic. This is a loser out game, however if Kentwood wins it advances to a 12:15 p.m. game March 2 verses Curtis.
