Tahoma takes sixth place at state | Prep Volleyball

The Bears placed sixth at state after losing to Camas Saturday at the 4A State Volleyball Tournament.

They started their state matches with a win against Snohomish, 3-1. But, later that day lost to Battle Ground, 0-3, which put them in a match against Olympia on Saturday morning. They defeated Olympia 3-1 and moved on to play Camas for 5th or 6th place, losing 1-3.

The last time Tahoma made it to the state tournament was in 2011, but they made a quick exit on day one after losing their first two matches.

Note: The print version of this story incorrectly stated that Tahoma lost to Camas 0-3 in their final match, the score was 1-3 (Camas)
