The Tahoma girls soccer team earned third-place in the district tournament after a 2-0 win Nov. 8 against Curtis.

Junior forward Mia Corbin put the Bears on the board in the first half, after an assist by freshman Abby Despain. Senior Cara Scammon put the game away in the second half with a header placed in the far upper corner of the net off a corner kick from senior Rachel Duty.

The Bears have advanced to the state tournament and will face Skyline in the first round at a date and time that are yet to be determined.
