Fun and safety at the Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety open house

Lyla Van Erem, 3, learned how to work a fire hose from Firefighter Steve Galassi on Sept. 13 at the Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety open house at Fire Station No. 81.
The event included food, plenty of activities for all ages, the King County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, an Airlift Northwest chopper and fire trucks.
