Vote for Pat Sullivan for state representative | Letter

In these days of poor leadership by some elected leaders, we are very fortunate to have Pat Sullivan in the Legislature representing those of us in the 47th District.
I have known Pat for over 11 years. I was first elected in 2001 to the Covington Council and served when Pat was Mayor. He was later elected as a Representative to the Legislature in the position he currently holds.
Pat is a man with very high ethics. He has worked very hard, on behalf of our community, to make things better.
He is a strong supporter of the middle class because he is one of us.
Pat recognizes the importance of good transportation systems, the value of a great education, the need to have effective and cost-efficient government and that jobs are the backbone of our communities.
I have worked with the Legislature for many years, trying to promote the needs of our community.
I do not know a Legislator that is more highly respected than Pat. His ability to “work across the aisle” with the other party is well-known. Pat is so modest; you would not really know much of this just talking with him.
As House Majority Leader, he has great impact on the entire Legislature. We need to send Pat back this year with a resounding vote of support. My endorsement and our family vote are for Pat Sullivan.
Wayne Snoey,
Covington
