Kids got a chance to see a python up close at Covington Kids Day at Kohl’s on Aug. 18.
Among the 20 vendors was the Reptile Man, Scott Petersen, from Monroe and a local band named Recess Monkey comprised of teacher musicians.
The Kent Regional Fire Authority and Lions Club also did a rodeo.
