Covington IHOP ribbon cutting ceremony | Slide Show

The Covington International House of Pancakes restaurant, also known by its acronym IHOP celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Dec. 1.

The restaurant is located at at 27149 185th Ave. S.E., in the Esplanade shopping center where Home Depot is located, between the Verizon Wireless store and Mizu.

The IHOP features 16 different types of pancakes ready for flipping and serving to hungry customers.

Mayor Margaret Harto and City Manager Derek Matheson joined in the festivities.
