Tahoma girls soccer finishes second in NPSL 4A

Post season play begins tonight when Tahoma hosts Kentwood

The Bears concluded regular season play Oct. 27 with a 1-0 win over Mount Rainier.

Tahoma finished in second place behind Kentridge with a 10-4-0, 12-4-0 record.

Post season play kicks off, today, Nov. 3 when the Bears host the Kentwood Conks in the first round of the West Central/Southwest 4A District tournament. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.

The winner of that game will move on to play a 7 p.m. game Saturday, Nov. 5 at Tahoma High School.

The top eight teams out of the district tournament will advance to state.

Kentwood

The Conquerors finished fourth with a 6-4-4, 8-5-4 record.

The last regular season game of the year was a 2-0 loss to the league champs.

Kentlake

The Falcons ended the regular season with a 3-2 win over Kent-Meridian. Kentlake was 4-9-1, 6-9-1 on the season.

The Falcons did not advance to the post season.
