KYLE DOYLE, Kentwood

Grade: Senior. Sport: Baseball.  Accomplishment: Doyle went 2-for-2 with two runs scored, three RBIs and a home run, leading Kentwood past Mount Rainier 14-3 in a South Puget Sound League North Division game April 13. Favorite class: CWI. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: Denzel Washington. Buffalo chicken pizza and Greek salad. Greatest athletic moment: Winning the Class 4A state baseball title last spring. Most recent book read/author: “Six Good Things” by Mark Kreidler. MADDIE BROWN, Kentlake

Grade: Junior. Sport: Fastpitch.   Accomplishment: Brown went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs scored in a 21-0 throttling of Thomas Jefferson April 12. Favorite class: French.  If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I’d invite the whole (Seattle) Mariners baseball team and we’d have Chinese with a side of sunflower seeds and grape juice. Favorite movie: It has got to be Dinner for Schmucks, The Hangover or When Harry Met Sally. Most recent book read/author: “Water for Elephants” by Sara Gruen. ALYX TOEAINA, Kentwood

Grade: Junior. Sport: Track.   Accomplishment: Toeaina won the shot put with a throw of 38-feet, 6 inches and the discuss with a toss of 128-4, leading the Conquerors past Tahoma 84-57 on April 14. Favorite class: English and ASL.  If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite my grandpa Toeaina who recently passed away, and (I’d) serve his favorite, Jack In The Box. Greatest athletic moment: Breaking my personal record in the discus by five feet. Favorite movie: Despicable Me.  Most recent book read/author: “Everywhere she runs” by Debra Webb. Currently playing on your iPod: “Fly” by Nicki Minaj.   In 10 years, I will be …: 27, happy and successful. Also: Toeaina currently sports a 3.88 grade-point average and plans on attending a four-year university and continuing her track career.

AARON DAVIS, Tahoma

Grade: Junior. Sport: Track and Field. Accomplishment: At Tahoma’s last league meet against Kentwood on April 14, Davis won both the shot put and the discus, hurling the shot 46 feet, 10 inches, then tossing the discus 115 feet, 9 inches. He also finished third in the shot put at the Arnie Young Invitational on April 2. Favorite class: Leadership. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner whom would you invite and what you would serve? The 2010 Tahoma offensive line (Bad Company) and serve corn dogs, lemonade and steak (for Dallas). What is your greatest athletic moment: Wrestling at state this year. What’s currently playing on your iPod? I Want It That Way. Most recent book read/author: 18th Century Western Philosophy. Also noted: Davis is a three sport athlete. In addition to track and field, he has started on the Bears football the past two seasons and wrestles in the winter, earning a spot at state this past season.

JORDAN JOHANSEN, Tahoma

Grade: Senior. Sport: Baseball. Accomplishment: Johansen had a pair of stellar games at the plate last week against Auburn. On April 13 he went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in an 8-7 Bears victory over the Trojans. On Saturday he finished 4-for-4, tallying 5 RBIs and a home run. Favorite class: Sports and Health. If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner whom would you invite and what you would serve? I would invite Josh Hamilton and I would serve steak for dinner. What is your greatest athletic moment: Winning state sophomore year. What’s currently playing on your iPod? “Out of Your Mind” by Li’l Jon. Also noted: Johansen ran varsity cross country his freshman and sophomore years for Tahoma.
