• Accomplishments: Bilbrey went 4 for 5 with three doubles and two runs scored last Friday as the Falcons edged Kentwood in an SPSL North Division game, 12-11.
• Favorite class: Chemistry.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite Mickey Mantle and Babe Ruth. I would serve lasagna, cheeseburgers, mashed potatoes and gravy, and hot fudge sundaes for dessert.
• Also: Bilbrey plays club softball year-round and plans to play softball in college.
KELLY LEHIGH
Tahoma
• Grade: Junior.
• Sport: Tennis.
• Accomplishments: Lehigh scored a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Laura Araki in No. 1 singles on April 2, helping the Bears knock Kentwood from the ranks of the unbeaten in the SPSL North, 3-2. That was Lehigh’s fourth win in a row, as she bounced back from an 0-2 start.
• Favorite class: Calculus.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite Kelton Sears because he’s just … well … words don’t do him justice. I would serve fish sticks.
• Also: Lehigh has a 3.9 grade-point average and is a member of the National Honor Society. She has coached micro-mod soccer the past two years, and plans to attend a four-year college.
BRYCE NIEMI
Tahoma
• Grade: Senior.
• Sport: Baseball.
• Accomplishments: Niemi went 3 for 3 with a three-run home run and five RBIs on March 31 as the Bears beat Federal Way in an SPSL North Division game, 12-1. Niemi added two runs scored and an RBI triple in Tahoma’s 16-6 win over Kentwood on Tuesday.
• Favorite class: P.E.
• If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve?: I would invite Will Ferrell, and would serve steak.
• Also: Niemi has a 3.5 grade-point average.
